RESORT-

Sestriere sits at the heart of one of Europe’s biggest ski areas known as The Milky Way in the Susa Valley. It regularly hosts Alpine Ski World Cup events but its biggest moment came when it was chosen as the centre for the alpine events in the 2006 Winter Olympic Games and the Winter Paralympics, hosting all the men’s alpine skiing competitions and being the site of one of the three Olympic Villages.

Accommodation:

The hotel Duchi d’Aosta tower dominates the view of Sestriere and has become the symbol of the village. Built in the 1930’s by FIAT’s founder Giovanni Agnelli to provide a holiday retreat for the workers in the FIAT factory down in Turin can now be enjoyed by everyone!

Just a 5-minute walk to the ski lifts the hotel boasts 194 rooms all equipped with private facilities, a panoramic restaurant located on the main floor, a bar/WIFI area, games room, amphitheatre and ski locker room the hotel is ideal for school groups!
