A ski tour to France
Flaine is a fantastic resort set in the heart of the beautiful Grand Massif ski area and only 90km from Geneva. The skiing in Flaine offers a wide variety of grades with 140km of piste in the Flaine area alone and a total of 265km if you take the whole Grand Massif into account. Flaine has an excellent reputation for early snow cover with North West facing slopes largely above 2000m and an above average annual snowfall. The main bowl at Flaine is particularly good at retaining snow and often stays in good condition long after the last snowfall. There is a great selection of pistes including a dedicated beginner area and a huge number of blue and red runs for intermediates.
RESORT-
For expert skiers the bowl off the back of the Tete Pelouse could easily keep you entertained for the whole week but there is so much more to explore. The main village of Flaine is split into three levels, each with their own cafes shops and bars. Flaine is a car free resort and getting around is easy with the in-town funiculars.
