The Florida Netball Classic tournament based in Fort Lauderdale has enjoyed a reputation as one of the world’s most popular netball tournament for senior teams since 1991 and 2014 saw the first junior tournament take place over the Easter period. Teams from Jamaica, Canada, Antigua, the Bahamas, Trinidad & Tobago, Cayman Islands, Australia, New Zealand and England have participated in previous years.

The senior tournament takes place in November every year and the junior tournament takes place over the East Weekend and can accommodate U12, U14, U16 and U19 teams. The two day tournament can be easily combined with longer stays in both Fort Lauderdale and/or Orlando for an extended netball tour to Florida

The lazy river floats you through a spectacular underwater view of the dolphins and past thousands of exotic fish. The Walhalla Wave, Omaka Rocka, Taumata Racer and more will see high-speed tubes and half-pipe funnels full of twists and turns.

DAY 1.


Depart local International airport for Orlando International Airport, Florida

Arrive in Orlando where you will be transferred to your accommodation where you will spend the next 3 nights

The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore local sites.

DAY 2.

 
Breakfast at accommodation

After breakfast, transfer to the ever popular Universal Studios “Island of Adventure”

DAY 3.


Breakfast at accommodation

Transfer to ‘Aquatica’ Waterpark

Transfer to local sports centre for friendly game #1 vs local opposition

Enjoy team meal at local restaurant

Return to accommodation


DAY 4


Breakfast at hotel

After breakfast you will be transferred to and take part in a Florida Everglades airboat ride and show

After tour, transfer to hotel in Fort Lauderdale where you will spend the remaining four nights

The remainder of the day will be free for your leisure

 

DAY 5


Breakfast at hotel

Enjoy the day at the beach where you can enjoy kite boarding and kayaking. A kayaking trip down the Florida Intracoastal will allow you to encounter uninhabited islands and wild life such as dolphins and Manatees

After excursion, transfer to sports complex for friendly game # 2 vs local opposition
